The Master of Community and Regional Planning graduate degree empowers and encourages students to effect change in their communities through political, social, environmental and political means. Community and Regional Planning is focused on effective planning and management of all spaces from urban sprawl to rural landscapes. Planners are tasked with making beneifical decisions for these spaces, working collaboratively with others and guiding the general public in strategic enchancements for the places they reside. UNL provides a graduate program open to students from all undergraduate backgrounds, including geography, history, political science, sociology and more who share a common interest in planning for the future. Our students move into careers spanning the Planning field including rural development, disaster mitigation, health and human services and urban design. This resource is intended to provide information about local, national and itnernational internship and job opportunities that would be a good fit for our students and alumni.
